The Role

We’re seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer (Frontend focused) to join our small, fast-moving team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our multi-platform product, spanning Chrome extension, Outlook add-in, and web application, while collaborating on our AWS serverless backend. As an early hire, you’ll not only own features end-to-end but also influence engineering culture, architecture, and best practices from the ground up.

What You’ll Work On

Frontend (Primary Focus >70%)

• Build and enhance our React-based front-end stack for the following:

  • Chrome Extension

  • Outlook Add-in

  • Web portal and other client-facing applications

• Implement reusable React components with Modern UI frameworks

• Create abstraction layers to maximize code reuse across our different front-ends

• Iteratively improve UX based on direct customer feedback

• Work with modern IDEs and processes and leverage AI tools when appropriate

• Implement automated UI testing and improve test coverage

Backend & Full Stack ( <30%)

• Collaborate on AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito) and AWS CDK with the backend engineer.

• Implement secure authentication & OAuth 2.0 flows

• Build RESTful APIs and MCP Servers to integrate with third-party case-management systems

• Contribute to infrastructure as code with AWS CDK

• Maintain and extend our SOC 2 Type II and Google CASA compliance posture, ensuring strong data privacy, security, and tenant isolation

• Python (Lambda functions), Node.js

• AWS CDK (TypeScript)

DevOps & Tools

• Git, npm, ESLint, Prettier

• AWS CI/CD pipelines

• Multi-environment deployment

• Compliance platforms (currently Sprinto)

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in React + TypeScript

• Experience building modern, component-based web applications

• Excitement for working frontend-heavy, but comfortable going full-stack when needed

• Curiosity about browser extensions and/or Office Add-ins

• Strong problem-solving ability and autonomy in execution

• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

• Adaptability and eagerness to learn quickly in a startup environment

• Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, CodeX) and the ability to leverage them to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality

Bonus Points

• Experience building Chrome extensions or browser-based productivity tools

• Familiarity with Office.js or Microsoft 365 development

• Experience with AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito)

• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and authentication flows

• Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern UI component libraries

• Prior startup or founding team experience

• Contributions to open-source projects
